Indian Yellow-nosed Albatrosses, Australia 2011



The second commonest mollymawk of the trip (with about twenty around the boat overall), Indian Yellow-nosed Albatrosses are, however, classed as endangered, with a rapidly decreasing population worldwide. They were also the smallest of the trip, particularly noticeable when dwarfed by nearby Wandering Albatrosses.
